Saw the teaser for I, Robot before TDAT. Dunno about that one, will probably wait to read some reviews first. Feels about the same as Schwarzeneggers cloning-flop The 6th Day with set-designs lifted from Minority Report.
Not being a big Asimov fan, i'm not really worried
about the differences in I, Robot the movie & I, Robot the book. I had trouble keeping my eyes open
when trying to read the Foundation books. [img]wink.gif[/img]
On the other hand the film looks like just another

And let's be honest here, how many movies that have been adapted from well loved novels ever satisfy anyone??? I can count them all on one hand.
I, Robot (the novel) is actually a collection of many short stories, NONE of which have robots being murderers. The rather long & 'boring' Bicentennial Man was the best adaptation of Asimov's robots to the silver-screen yet.
Haven't seen any previews for "I, Robot" yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to it, and I always love Will Smith's big Summer blockbusters. Since they don't have *decent* fireworks around here (fire hazard) he's my July 4th tradition!
Hey, I enjoyed "6th Day"! The one I really didn't like was that one that tried to be all biblical, but was really boring and derivitive and blended into my head with like 12 other movies that what's his name played the same priest/devil part in. Does anyone know which film I'm talking about? Oh yea, just found it..."End of Days"

I did enjoy T3; Rise Of The Machines, though that was more Nick Stahl's starring movie than Arnold's.
True Lies was Jim Cameron, Arnold was just along for the ride (like you can't call Titanic a 'DiCaprio movie').
